The methods and means of non-destructive testing

The laboratory of the methods and means of non-destructive testing at the Center of Certification tests of FSUE "CRIM", accredited by “Gosstandart of Russia” (state body of standards regulation and confirmation), staffed by qualified professionals with tremendous experience in various branches of the military and civilian industry.


We have a stationary X-ray machines, as well as magna-flux examination detectors, ultrasonic flaw reflectoscope and luminescent one.

In conducting non-destructive testing, we use automated multi-channel hardware and software to automate complex «54-482» for ultrasonic testing with adjustment of control regimes, automated processing of information, visualization of controlled sections of articles assessing, estimation of the nature and size of defects, archiving and documenting the source of information about defects and protocols verification.

Laboratory developed more than 10 industry standards for non-destructive testing, released more than 100 methods and instructions on non-destructive testing, and completed the introduction of methods and tools, developed by non-destructive testing at more than 50 enterprises in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Among them: FSUE "VZ", FGUP "VZ № 9", JSC "POLEMA", FSUE "MIT", JSC "Tula Chermet", JSC "Defort".

The laboratory of non-destructive methods of control carries out following types of non-destructive quality control:

• ultra-sonic control;
• radiographic analysis;
• magnetic control;
• capillary control;
• eddy-current control on probolog.

We have developed the methods, the unique engineering regulations documentation and non-destructive means of quality control for products, blanks, components and assemblies of high-tensile steel, special alloys, erosion-resistant , heat-protection composite ceramic and other materials, used in the military industry, industry, health care and other industries.

We conduct quality control:
-- Ferrous and nonferrous metal alloys;
-- Structural and quartz ceramics;
-- Composite materials, glass-and carbon;
-- Casting;
-- Welds connections;
-- Pipes, rods, forgings and other products of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.

The technologies, designed for more than 50 - year history of the laboratory of non-destructive testing will significantly improve the quality of Your products.
