Metal treatment with pressure
Laboratory of metals treatment with pressure develops manufacturing processes and designs equipment for cold sheet stamping, stretch drawing (rolling) and radial-draw forming, produces rolling cylinders, cones, etc. hemisphere axially symmetric thin-walled of turning body from any cold-forming metals and alloys, including all-metal billets with diameter up to 1 m and with wall thickness of 0.3 to 5 mm.
We have developed technology manufacturing parts from steel «ЧС» -type, in the heating state providing the tensile strength σ B ≥ 1600 MPa, and from other high strength steels, as well as titanium alloys of the type «TC-6» with σ B up to 1000 MPa. There is a possibility of assortment or developing special structural materials with properties that meet the requirements of the customer.
The existing park of press equipment ( with presses force from 15 to 630 tones) and stretch drawing machinery allows getting products in size from a few mm up to 2 m from sheet of low-carbon and stainless steels, nonferrous metals, including:
• prime-focus parabolic reflectors with a diameter from 0.8 to 1.8 m and "offset" -type reflectors with a diameter of 0.8 m;
• elements of the supporting and turning arrangements to them;
• collapsible masts and wall ties for satellite and ether antennas;
• disks for disk-type power floats;
• packaging for workshop and street lamps, desk lamps.
Advantages of parts production via our technologies:
• reducing the consumption of the metal and its manufacturing labor in 1,5-2 times compared with traditional ways;
• short time for obtaining samples and placing them into serial production.
We produce:
• prime-focus parabolic reflectors for satellite television systems in diameter from 0.8 to 1.8 m with thickness of sheet from 1 up to 2 mm;
• details with variable wall thickness, using a progressive method of stretch drawing (the details of aluminum alloys, types: «АДО», «АМцМ», «АМг6», «1201», «01420», «В96ц3», titanium alloys, types: «ТС6», «ВТ6», «ВТ6С», «ОТ4», high structural steels, types «СП» and «ЧС» and stainless steel ).
Examples of complex technological manufacturing details processes can be represented by the technological process of obtain molybdenum thin-wall crucibles (thickness - 0,4-0,8 mm) of complex form for growing single crystals, semi-finished flask and the shell of the metal thermos from stainless steel, type-«12Х18Н10Т», packaging for pressure cooker from aluminum, type-«A5», as well as bunker details from stainless steel for cheese-making aggregates and filling-sealing machines, etc. The removal of welds (or reducing their number), improving the quality of surfaces not only improve the appearance of detail, but their consumer properties too.
The most effective use of a stretch drawing in combination with other methods of plastic deformation (blanking, pressure forming, etc.). It should be noted that for most shell-type parts, manufactured via using a stretch drawing finalization machining by cutting (facing, slotting, boring, drilling, etc.). is required.
The application of a stretch drawing compared to other methods of manufacture allows:
-- Increase Metals Use Ratio from 0,1-0,3 to 0,4-0,7;
-- Reduce labor by 10-30%;
-- Reduce the mass of detail by 5-10%.
It should be noted that the use of a stretch drawing for the manufacture of ax symmetric shells through the universality of the equipment and low-cost technological equipment cuts time and costs to prepare their production and, therefore, is highly effective in terms not only in serial but in small-scale and even uncial production.
Our promising technological processes and schemes of metals treatment with pressure and expeareance learned can be successfully used in the conditions of our production of small-and large parts having cylindrical, tapered, spherical, parabolic, elliptical forms and other curved shapes and combinations withsizes from 10 to 2000 mm , with a wall thickness of 0.2 to 6 mm
